Privacy notice
What the init.ro0t front-end collects, what it does not, and what is public by design.
Summary
- We do not ask for your name, email or identity documents. There are no accounts.
- Your wallet address and everything you do on-chain are public on the blockchain, independently of us.
- Our servers keep standard access logs for a limited time. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
- Content you upload when launching a token is published to IPFS and cannot be deleted.
1. Who is responsible
[Company legal name], [address], is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: [contact email].
2. What we collect
2.1 Wallet address
When you connect a wallet, the Site reads your public address in your browser to show your balances and to construct transactions. The address is sent to our indexer and RPC providers when the Site queries data about it (for example your created tokens). We do not link addresses to real-world identities.
2.2 On-chain data
The Site displays data read from the HyperEVM blockchain: transactions, balances, trades, launches, fee accounting. This data is public, permanent and outside our control. We run or use an indexer that copies and organises it for display.
2.3 Server logs
Our web servers and hosting provider record standard technical logs: IP address, user agent, requested page, timestamp, referrer. They are used for security, abuse prevention and debugging and are retained for [retention period, e.g. 30 days]. Where possible, IP addresses are truncated or anonymised.
2.4 Cookies and local storage
The Site uses browser local storage for functional preferences (for example the last connected wallet type or chart settings). It does not set advertising or tracking cookies. If we add privacy-preserving analytics in future, this notice will be updated to say what is collected and how to opt out.
2.5 Content you upload
When you launch a token, the name, symbol, description, image and social links you provide are sent to our pinning service and published to IPFS, a public peer-to-peer network. The IPFS link is written to the blockchain. This content is public, is copied by other nodes, and cannot be deleted by us or by you. Do not include personal data in token metadata.
3. Third parties
To function, the Site sends requests to third-party services that see your IP address and the data in the request:
- RPC node providers for HyperEVM (reads and transaction broadcasts). Your wallet may use its own RPC, which is governed by that wallet's privacy policy.
- Indexer ([provider name or "self-hosted"]) for organised on-chain data.
- IPFS pinning service ([provider name]) for token metadata and images.
- Hosting and CDN ([provider name]) for serving the Site.
- Price feeds for the HYPE/USD conversion shown on the Site.
- HyperSwap contracts and, if you follow links, its website.
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertisers.
4. Why we process data (legal basis)
To provide the Site you requested (performance of a contract / legitimate interest), to keep the Site secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interest), and to comply with legal obligations. Where a law requires consent, for example for non-essential cookies, we will ask for it.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, delete or export personal data we hold, to object to or restrict processing, and to complain to a supervisory authority. Contact [contact email]. Note that we cannot alter or delete anything recorded on the blockchain or on IPFS, because we do not control those networks.
6. International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries other than yours, including [countries]. Where required we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
7. Children
The Site is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
8. Changes
We will post any changes here with a new date. Significant changes will be highlighted on the Site.
